The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with child in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 52,875.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von NLG 4.446,76 (€ 1.897,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Mendes da Costa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with child im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.875,00.
