It achieved a price of EUR 3,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Mendes da Costa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with child in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 52,875.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %.
