Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Kosuth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ‘Titled (A.A.I.A.I.)’ [text-context|AID1046897] in November last year with an auction result of USD 289,800.00 (€ 280,732.35).

Die Arbeit Intentio (Project) von Joseph Kosuth wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 630,00 (€ 570,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Kosuth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ‘Titled (A.A.I.A.I.)’ [text-context|AID1046897] im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 289.800,00 (€ 280.732,35).
