Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A figure before a cottage in a lake landscape; and Figures resting in a mountainous landscape by Joseph Horlor was sold in the BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2000. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,555.97). Other works by Joseph Horlor have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.00) in May 2007 for the work Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A figure before a cottage in a lake landscape; and Figures resting in a mountainous landscape von Joseph Horlor wurde im September 2000 in der Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.555,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Horlor haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 3.002,00) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast beobachtet.
