Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Enfant, dit aussi Composition cubiste by József Csáky. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 88,200.00 (€ 85,440.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by József Csáky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure Dite Figure Abstraite, which sold at auction in October 2020 for EUR 214,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Enfant, dit aussi Composition cubiste von József Csáky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 88.200,00 (€ 85.440,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von József Csáky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure Dite Figure Abstraite beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für EUR 214.200,00 versteigert wurde.
