Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sculpture abstraite by József Csáky was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 113,775.00 (€ 106,790.88). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by József Csáky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure Dite Figure Abstraite, which sold at auction in October 2020 for EUR 214,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sculpture abstraite von József Csáky wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 113.775,00 (€ 106.790,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von József Csáky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure Dite Figure Abstraite beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für EUR 214.200,00 versteigert wurde.
