A top price for József Csáky - as previously expected
In October 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Modernités, which included the work Figure Dite Figure Abstraite by József Csáky. The price achieved of EUR 214,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Figure Dite Figure Abstraite is the most expensive artwork by József Csáky that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Modernités durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure Dite Figure Abstraite von József Csáky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 214.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Figure Dite Figure Abstraite das teuerste Kunstwerk von József Csáky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
