JOSEPH CORNELL (1903-1972) Prints for Phoenix House: three prints a screenprint in colors with varnish stencil, and two photogravures, on Rives BFK paper, 1972, two stamp-signed, each variously numbered and annotated (the edition was 125, plus eight artist's proofs), published by Brooke Alexander Editions, New York, 1975, each with full margins Largest Sheet: 19 1 ⁄ 2 x 15 1 ⁄ 2 in. (495 x 394 mm.)

Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Cornell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Medici Slot Machine in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 7,781,000.00 (€ 5,704,545.45).
