Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Josef Hoffmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in November 2017. In the Jacques Grange | Collectionneur auction, the work Vase, Circa 1920 sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Hoffmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M 92 Table Lamp, Circa 1904 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 237,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Josef Hoffmann erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Jacques Grange | Collectionneur wurde die Arbeit Vase, Circa 1920 für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Hoffmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M 92 Table Lamp, Circa 1904 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 237.000,00.
