Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living With Art, which included the work Untitled (Pendant) by José de Creeft. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,150.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José de Creeft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cubist Figure in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,805.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Pendant) von José de Creeft zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.150,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José de Creeft erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cubist Figure im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.805,30).
