Upper estimate price exceeded by 67 %.
In February 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living With Art, which included the work Self-Portrait by José de Creeft. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,300.33), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José de Creeft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cubist Figure in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,805.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait von José de Creeft zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.300,33) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José de Creeft erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cubist Figure im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.805,30).
