Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Untitled (Figure) by José de Creeft was worth USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,402.65) to a buyer in February 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by José de Creeft; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cubist Figure sold at auction in February 2016 with the realized price of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,805.30).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
