Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Pendant) by José de Creeft was sold in the Living With Art auction at Christies in New York in February 2016. It achieved a price of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,610.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José de Creeft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cubist Figure in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,805.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Pendant) von José de Creeft wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.610,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José de Creeft erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cubist Figure im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.805,30).
