Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jorma Puranen could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work ”Shadows, reflections and all that sort of things #32”, 2004. changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,928.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jorma Puranen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icy Prospects (No. 17) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,588.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jorma Puranen konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit ”Shadows, reflections and all that sort of things #32”, 2004. für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.928,13) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorma Puranen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icy Prospects (No. 17) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.588,14).
