Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Inquilino by Jordi Ribes was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December last year. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 56,896.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jordi Ribes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit El Inquilino von Jordi Ribes wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 56.896,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jordi Ribes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49) versteigert wurde.
