Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work The Ponte Molle in the Campagna, Northern Rome (recto) and (verso) by Jonathan Skelton for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,776.49). This price was achieved in the auction Andrew Wyld: Connoisseur Dealer at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Jonathan Skelton have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2012 by the work The Ponte Lucano and the Tomb of the Plautii, Rome at GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,707.99).

Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Ponte Molle in the Campagna, Northern Rome (recto) and (verso) von Jonathan Skelton für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.776,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Andrew Wyld: Connoisseur Dealer bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
