Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work November: Mallaig Vaig by Jon Schueler was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,615.45). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jon Schueler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Sky, Red Sea, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,092.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit November: Mallaig Vaig von Jon Schueler wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.615,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jon Schueler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Sky, Red Sea beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.092,54) versteigert wurde.
