Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Jays For Blue Days by Jon Pylypchuk was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2012. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jon Pylypchuk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,390.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Jays For Blue Days von Jon Pylypchuk wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jon Pylypchuk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.390,09).
