A top price for John Wonnacott - as previously expected
In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction Post -War and Contemporary Art (Evening Sale), which included the work Self-Portrait With Electric Light Bulb by John Wonnacott. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 54,000.00 (€ 80,133.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Self-Portrait With Electric Light Bulb is the most expensive artwork by John Wonnacott that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post -War and Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Electric Light Bulb von John Wonnacott zur Versteigerung kam.
