The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 51,468.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by John Way have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work LANDSCAPE was auctioned for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,503.25).
