Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Study For Alba And Cream by John Walker. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,976.90), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by John Walker have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 9,987.50 (€ 11,487.81) in November 2000 for the work Oceania III.

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study For Alba And Cream von John Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.976,90) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von John Walker haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.987,50 (€ 11.487,81) im November 2000 für die Arbeit Oceania III beobachtet.
