In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Study For Alba And Cream by John Walker. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,976.90), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by John Walker have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 9,987.50 (€ 11,487.81) in November 2000 for the work Oceania III.
