In December 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work N.Y.C. No.Iii by John Walker. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,699.98), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by John Walker have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 9,987.50 (€ 11,487.81) in November 2000 for the work Oceania III.

Im Dezember 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit N.Y.C. No.Iii von John Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.699,98) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von John Walker haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.987,50 (€ 11.487,81) im November 2000 für die Arbeit Oceania III beobachtet.
