It achieved a price of GBP 40,620.00 (€ 47,069.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Tunnard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Display, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,652.82).

Die Arbeit Projection 47 x 67.2 cm. (18 1/2 x 26 7/16 in.) von John Tunnard kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.620,00 (€ 47.069,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Tunnard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Display beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.652,82) versteigert wurde.
