Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bee's View by John Tunnard was auctioned at Christies in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,117.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Tunnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Display in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,652.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bee's View von John Tunnard kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.117,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Tunnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Display im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.652,82).
