The work Composition by John Tunnard was auctioned at Christies in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,716.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by John Tunnard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Display in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,652.82).

Die Arbeit Composition von John Tunnard kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.716,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Tunnard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Display im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.652,82).
