Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition by John Tunnard was sold in the Modern | British Art auction at Christies in London in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,476.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Tunnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Display in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,652.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von John Tunnard wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Modern | British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.476,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Tunnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Display im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.652,82).
