Eliot auction at Christies in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,406.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Thomas Barber Beaumont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,840.52).
