However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Thomas Barber Beaumont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,840.52).

Die Arbeit Portrait of Emily Beaumont (d.1849), the artist's daughter, half-length in a white dress and green shawl von John Thomas Barber Beaumont wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion THE ROYAL & SUNALLIANCE COLLECTION bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.303,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%.
