Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Under the arches on the terrace outside Florian's (i); Interior of Florian's (ii); Sketch of St Mark's Square (iii); Florian's, breakfast time (iv) by John Stanton Ward was worth GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,511.88) to a buyer in November 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Annabel's at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Stanton Ward - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Annabel's, Study for The Founder Members, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 13,125.00 (€ 14,804.60).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Annabel's bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches.
