The work Intaglio by John Milne was sold in the Made In Britain auction at Sothebys in London in April 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,868.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Milne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vertical Form, which sold at auction in November 2020 for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,252.68).

Die Arbeit Intaglio von John Milne wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.868,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Milne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vertical Form beobachtet, die im November 2020 für GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.252,68) versteigert wurde.
