Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Durness by John MacLauchlan Milne was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,439.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John MacLauchlan Milne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St Paul de Vence in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,745.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Durness von John MacLauchlan Milne kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.439,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John MacLauchlan Milne erzielen.
