Ivor Braka.Three Tastemakers auction, the work A Friendly Mount; Gone Away; Where There'S A Will There'S Away; And A Capital Finish sold for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,206.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by John Leech have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mr Briggs Taming A Colt Which He Has Bred Himself in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,440.84).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Leech auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mr Briggs Taming A Colt Which He Has Bred Himself im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.500,00 (€ 5.440,84).
