This artwork by John Grillo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2021. In the Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Online Sale auction, the work without title sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,305.40) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Grillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,795.58).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Grillo erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Online Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.305,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Grillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.795,58).
