This work without title by John Grillo was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2020. It achieved a price of USD 3,187.00 (€ 2,719.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Grillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,795.58).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von John Grillo kam im September 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.187,00 (€ 2.719,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Grillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.795,58).
