It achieved a price of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,488.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Dalby - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Kill, which sold at auction in June 2001 for USD 47,000.00 (€ 55,463.77).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.488,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%.
