Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Full Cry: The Lead Ploughorse Joins In by John Dalby for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,680.86). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Dalby achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Kill in June 2001 with an auction result of USD 47,000.00 (€ 55,463.77).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
