Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Christies in London held the auction Sporting and Wildlife Art, which included the work The Pride Of The Hunt by John Charlton. The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,015.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by John Charlton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2013 the work 'God save the Queen': Queen Victoria arriving at St Paul's Cathedral on the Occasion of the Diamond Jubilee Thanksgiving Service, 22 June 1897 was auctioned for GBP 55,875.00 (€ 63,846.93).

Im Juni 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting and Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Pride Of The Hunt von John Charlton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.015,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
