Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with flowers and fruit on a ledge by Johannes Reekers II was sold in the NINETEENTH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2000. The price achieved of NLG 9,361.60 (€ 4,493.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Reekers II - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A partridge, a plover, fruit and flowers, which sold at auction in October 2009 for EUR 13,750.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 9.361,60 (€ 4.493,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
