Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A pear, grapes, a fig, an apricot, a horse-chestnut and summer flowers on a draped ledge by Johannes Reekers II was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,880.63). Admittedly, works by Johannes Reekers II have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A partridge, a plover, fruit and flowers in October 2009 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A pear, grapes, a fig, an apricot, a horse-chestnut and summer flowers on a draped ledge von Johannes Reekers II kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.880,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Reekers II auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A partridge, a plover, fruit and flowers im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
