Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work OT (Man with hat) by Johannes Kahrs was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,964.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Kahrs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work O.T. (Schmerz) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,000.00 (€ 258,491.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit OT (Man with hat) von Johannes Kahrs wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.964,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Kahrs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit O.T. (Schmerz) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.000,00 (€ 258.491,84).
