Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Empty 2) by Johannes Kahrs was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Kahrs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work O.T. (Schmerz) in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,000.00 (€ 258,491.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Empty 2) von Johannes Kahrs kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Kahrs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit O.T. (Schmerz) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.000,00 (€ 258.491,84).
