Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Graf Lanskoi, half-length, in a brown coat with a white jabot by Johann Friedrich August Tischbein was sold in the European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Friedrich August Tischbein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of The Artist And His Family in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 146,943.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Fine Paintings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Friedrich August Tischbein erzielen.
