Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Portrait Of Yakov Dmitrievich Lanskoy by Johann Friedrich August Tischbein. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,752.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Friedrich August Tischbein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of The Artist And His Family in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 146,943.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Yakov Dmitrievich Lanskoy von Johann Friedrich August Tischbein zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.752,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Friedrich August Tischbein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of The Artist And His Family im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.500,00 (€ 146.943,13).
