Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,714.19). Admittedly, works by Joe Zucker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jeweled Ant in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,708.00).

Die Arbeit Pirates Repast or Brunch at Captain Enry Morgan's von Joe Zucker wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion First Open Post- War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.714,19) einen neuen Besitzer.
