Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,847.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jitish Kallat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Eclipse)- 5 in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,780,000.00 (€ 274,673.21).

Die Arbeit Inherited Allergy/White Sweat von Jitish Kallat wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion A Pioneering Vision: Works from the Collection of Shumita and Arani Bose bei Christies in New York versteigert.
