The work Dawn Chorus – 6 by Jitish Kallat was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,367.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jitish Kallat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Eclipse)- 5 in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,780,000.00 (€ 274,673.21).

Die Arbeit Dawn Chorus – 6 von Jitish Kallat kam im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.367,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jitish Kallat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Eclipse)- 5 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.780.000,00 (€ 274.673,21).
