This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Nutt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Tooth" in October last year with an auction result of SEK 10,500,000.00 (€ 960,791.22).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jim Nutt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Tooth" im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 10.500.000,00 (€ 960.791,22).
