Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 47,880.00 (€ 40,773.23). Admittedly, works by Jim Lambie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Careless Whisper in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 203,117.21).
