Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Far Away Thoughts by Jessica Hayllar was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,289.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessica Hayllar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Coming Event in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 138,650.00 (€ 202,424.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Far Away Thoughts von Jessica Hayllar kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.289,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessica Hayllar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Coming Event im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.650,00 (€ 202.424,63).
