A top price for Jessica Hayllar - as previously expected
The work A Coming Event by Jessica Hayllar was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2003. It changed hands for a price of GBP 138,650.00 (€ 202,424.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Coming Event is the most expensive artwork by Jessica Hayllar that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit A Coming Event von Jessica Hayllar kam im Februar 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 138.650,00 (€ 202.424,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Coming Event das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jessica Hayllar, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
